Jarred Madeiros
Dance Instructor
Jarred Madeiros teaches Intermediate and Advanced Tap, choreographs for the PSPA Dance Team, and co-directs Driving Rhythm, a youth tap company. A proud PSPA alumnus, he began dancing at PSPA at just three years old and moved seamlessly into a teaching role upon graduating high school in 2019.
Jarred trained as a versatile dancer in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, Acro, and Contemporary, ultimately finding his true passion in Tap. In his early years, he was a member of the Boston Tap Company, performing in numerous productions and showcases. During his senior year of high school, Jarred joined the American Tap Company and traveled to Germany to compete with Team USA at the IDO World Championships. He also began his choreographic career in high school, earning multiple Student Choreography Awards for his work.
During college, Jarred was highly active in dance as the Vice President of Roger Williams University’s Dance Club, serving as a primary choreographer and overseeing the behind-the-scenes operations of the club’s dance productions.
As a choreographer and instructor, Jarred has celebrated significant competitive achievements at the regional and national levels. Highlights include two 1st Overall National titles for productions, multiple top overall solo awards, and numerous 1st Overall and Judges’ Choice recognitions for duos and trios. Their group tap dances have also earned multiple top overall placements, showcasing versatility, precision, and dancer development.
Outside of the studio, Jarred works full-time as the Groups and Events Manager at Starland in Hanover. He is dedicated to ongoing training and seeks out classes throughout the Boston area whenever possible to continue growing as an artist and educator.
