We Love to Dance... and it Shows!

For nearly four decades, Pembroke School of Performing Arts has been helping dancers discover far more than beautiful technique. We believe dance has the power to build confidence, character, discipline, creativity, and lifelong friendships.
Whether your child is taking their very first dance class, exploring a new style, or pursuing advanced training through our Competition Team, PSPA provides a welcoming environment where every dancer is encouraged to learn, grow, and reach their personal best.
Our carefully designed curriculum guides students through each stage of development—from their first creative movements as toddlers to comprehensive training in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, acro, hip hop, contemporary, and performance opportunities. Every class builds upon the last, creating confident, well-rounded dancers while nurturing a genuine love of the performing arts.
At PSPA, we believe success isn't measured only by trophies or applause. It is found in the confidence gained after mastering a new skill, the friendships formed through teamwork, the resilience developed through challenges, and the joy that comes from expressing yourself through dance.
For over 38 years, families throughout Pembroke and the South Shore have trusted PSPA because we are committed to providing exceptional instruction in a positive, encouraging environment where students feel seen, supported, and inspired.
Whether your dancer dreams of performing on stage, joining our Competition Team, or simply dancing for the joy of movement, we are honored to be part of their journey.

Dancing Through Life
Welcome, to our PSPA Dance Family!
Whether you’re just checking us out or planning to stay awhile. We encourage you to ask questions and find friends who share your passion for dance and growth. Here at PSPA, we believe that dancing is fun, engaging, educational and driven by passion! This includes laughter, giggles, artistic growth and is best when shared with friends. Dance teaches us to set long-term goals and work towards them. It encourages us to be brave and confident every time we step on stage. It allows us to become creative problem solvers and lays the foundation for a lifetime of healthy habits.
Our dancers are encouraged to be well rounded through a variety of programs and dance styles, building creative opportunities and healthy habits on and off the stage. We look forward to dancing with you and can’t wait to watch your dance journey unfold!

All About Our Story

Opened in February 1988 by Kathleen and Michael Kelble, the Pembroke School of Performing Arts is a family-run, full-time dance studio offering dance classes and community service to their South Shore community. Located in Pembroke, MA and serving students across the South Shore, PSPA provides age-appropriate dance and theater education to students aged 18 months through adult in all styles of dance. On top of a large selection of weekly classes throughout the school year, they also offer various summer camps and programs. They are very active in their community, and believe dance should be fun, engaging, educational, driven by passion and help students develop necessary life skills.
