Creative Movement Classes at PSPA

Our Creative Movement classes introduce toddlers to the joy of dance through imagination, music, movement, and play! Designed to engage all of your child’s senses, these classes encourage creativity while building coordination, listening skills, confidence, and classroom independence. Young dancers enjoy activities such as ribbon dancing, movement games, counting exercises, pattern work, and interactive call-and-response activities in a nurturing and upbeat environment.
Creative First Steps (Ages 18mo - 3yr)
Pembroke School of Performing Arts’ toddler dance classes start with creative movement and basic dance steps to improve gross motor skills and transition into regular Combination Tap and Ballet dance class where young dancers focus on age appropriate technique and terminology. This class does not perform in our June show, but has an “in house” demonstration at the end of the year for family and friends.
