Miss Melissa joined the PSPA teaching staff in 2021, teaching Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acro, Contemporary, and Creative Movement. She began her dance training in Taunton, MA, at the age of three, studying a variety of styles including, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Ballroom, and Latin. Melissa continued her dance training at Bridgewater State University where she studied various techniques as well as choreography and pedagogy. Throughout her time at BSU, Melissa performed and choreographed for multiple showcases, including WinterDance and Dance Kaleidoscope, while also dabbling in lighting design for Dance Kaleidoscope 2022. Melissa is honored to share her passion for dance and movement with students of all ages across Southeastern Massachusetts, especially at PSPA.
