This Thanksgiving break, while most of us will still be recovering from our turkey dinners, 5 Pembroke School of Performing Arts students & alumni will be flying across the country to compete with Team USA in the World Tap Championships.
Current PSPA students, Katey, Jarred, Collin, Logan and PSPA alumna, Caitlin, will be traveling to Germany this November to represent the U.S. in the championship. Not only are they representing their country but they are also representing their towns, schools, South Shore, and of course, Pembroke School of Performing Arts.
As a school, we could not be more proud of these dancers. All 5 of them started at PSPA at a very young age and it has been such an honor to watch them grow into the dancers they are today.
Katey and Jarred are both seniors at Silver Lake and Marshfield High School and Collin and Logan are freshmen at Marshfield High School. Among other things, these dancers are all members of the PSPA dance team, as well as the Driving Rhythm Tap Dance Company. Over the years they have also been involved in the student assistantship program at PSPA and have contributed to numerous community events.
Caitlin is a junior at Bridgewater State University where she studies secondary education and history. There, she is also a member of the BSU Dance Company. Caitlin was also a long-time member of the PSPA dance team and a class assistant during her time with us.
Please join as we say, “break-a-leg” to these 5 incredible dancers! Thank you for representing the United States and PSPA!
